Rangers Glasgow Head Coach, Steven Gerrard, has warned his side ahead of their UEFA Europa League tie against French Ligue 1 giants, Olympique Lyon.
According to Gerrard, playing against Lyon will be a very good and tough challenge for his boys.
Aribo alongside his compartriot Leon Balogun are expected to be in action when Rangers kick-starts their 2021/2022 Europa League campaign against the former French Ligue 1 Champions.
Lyon is coming to the Ibrox Stadium on Thursday evening, and Gerrard is optimistic that his boys can get the job done.
Speaking to the club’s official media team, the former Liverpool skipper said;
“Lyon has high-level players and is a big club with a highly experienced manager.
“We are under no illusion on how tough this game will be, and we have big respect for the team we will face tomorrow.
“This is a fantastic challenge and what a time to be part of this team, this is something that we all want to be part of.
“We have shown we can compete and improve at this level. The challenge is to keep impressing and to go further. One thing is for sure, we won’t make it easy for anyone who plays us.”
